我的公司名叫Project’s farm，是一家致力於創新的軟體開發公司，成立於2009年，成員來自開發各種專業軟體的國際團隊，主要業務為創建網路軟體和雲端管理。2013年，公司將開發團隊擴展到5個開發主管，並將10個不同項目的開發人員納入佩魯賈及孟加拉的達卡總部。Project’s farm的優勢在於對網路領域的深刻了解，使其能夠從零到一創建web等應用程式，不僅功能比較完善、客製化，也能幫助客戶拓展市場、取得目標客群。2017年九月，也就是我剛實習的一個禮拜，老闆告訴我公司即將更名為Readyapp，為了更專注於app的開發，並且給合作夥伴Readytec更直接的服務和支援。
公司為我設計一套很完善的入門SOP，讓我先了解公司和Readytec之間的關聯，並了解Readytec的業務和他們的主要服務項目。再讓我認識行動應用程式的語言、市場和整個產業的趨勢。原先我以為app就只是app，但做了資料之後才發現app會因應用背景(如iOS、Android)等等的不同，而有不同的對應語言、樣式。並且也會因為成本等等因素的考量，區分為以iOS、Android等應用基礎的native app和以IE, Chorme, Safari, Firefox等瀏覽器為基礎的web app。甚至發現app市場是一個非常有潛力和發展性的市場。有一份業界權威報告預測在2021年，全球app下載量會達到352億，app市場的收益更會高達139億美元。因為有了這樣的事前作業，我不僅對行動應用程式市場有了概括的認識，也發現到行動應用程式是一個充滿潛力與發展性的產業。有了充足了準備和了解之後，我才正式進入市場調查工作。
My company, Project's Farm, was founded in 2009. A company specializing in development of innovative web software, Project's Farm international team from various software development fields focuses on creating web startup and cloud management. In 2013, they expand their mobile application development team to 5 developers, and 10-unit development staff between Perugia and Dhaka headquarters in Bangladesh.
Project's Farm strengths are the dynamism and profound knowledge of web dynamics that allow them to create web applications. Not only functional but also helpful for acquiring new customers.
In September 2017, it renamed Readyapp. In order to focus on the app development, and to give the parent company, Readytec, more direct service and support.
My intern job in the company is market research. Because in the process of developing mobile applications, we need a lot of background information and data to support it. So, I am responsible for collecting relevant market information and providing them as references. During my internship life, I first got to understand the connection between our company and Readytec and to understand Readytec's business and their major services. And then understanding mobile applications languages, their market and the industry trend. Because of these preview process, I not only had a general understanding of the mobile app market but also found that mobile apps’ industry is full of potential and has a lot of space to grow. With enough preparation, I final entered to my work, market research.
I did two reports of market research: the hotel mobile application market research and the pharmacy mobile application market research. The biggest difference of doing a market research in Italy is that because it is an international company, I need to use English or Italian websites regular, so it is more difficult to collect information.However, learning from the implementation. I had a great sense of achievement when I finished a market research.
In addition to learning in the work. I also learned a lot from my colleagues. My colleague is responsible for the design of mobile applications. One day she gave me a post-it note, and there is a website on it. But this time, it is not about work. She told me that this is a website about online learning. And she uses this to learn new knowledge and skills every day. Even more surprising me is that she not only learn her own major design, but also learn how to write programming languages. She is no longer a student, but she still very humble and keep learning every day. This is what I really admire and appreciate. It reminds me that a famous businessman said that "the ability of self-learning is the key of future success. I learned a lot from her. And I think this self-learning attitude is the most valuable experience I learned in my internship life.
