在我的“義”想世界裡大放“義”彩

一開始參加這個實習計畫我認為可以在未來的職場上有所加分,然而經過五個月之後我所體驗的已經遠遠超過於此。

在實習職場上雖然能夠以簡單的義大利文和同事溝通,但是絕大多數時間還是得用英文,也因為彼此間的文化差異認知上的不同,導致一開始在溝通時有點抓不到同事或是主管所交辦的任務,但是經過時間的磨合我也逐漸融入公司及當地的文化,或許與其他實習單位相較下我們的工作略顯平淡,但是當開始學會觀察周遭人、事、物之後可以了解到義大利人的做事風格及對於完成一件工作的執著,那種精神是我最敬佩也體悟最深的,在台灣我們講求“速度”與“便利”但是在義大利即使重大的會議迫在眉睫,他們扔然從容不迫地把每一件小事做到最好最完整。

一開始我們積極的找尋目標市場以及可能合作的大陸旅行社並分析可行性市場,但是公司會依照目前公司的走向並希望藉由我們的跨文化合作來分享不同的資訊。雖然剛開始會有點受挫自己先前所做的努力,但是遵循公司未來發展,我們將飯店開闢一片新天地,當飯店開始走向網路平台,藉由訂房網站來讓更多人知道我們飯店。所以我們也開始翻譯公司的網站以及尋找其他亞洲網站和平台,然後把公司的資訊放上去,平時遇到大型會議也協助其他同事場佈等等相關事前籌備事宜。

受到學長姐影響所以我們也認為假日不應該待在城內,應該去其他城市探險,平均每兩個禮拜就會到義大利其他城市流浪。當你越深入了解這個地區的文化你會發現每個地區都有其特點,不管是飲食文化或是日常生活等作息,也是存在著城鄉差距及南北義間的差異。

聖誕假期期間,我們走訪了歐洲幾個大城市,巴黎、倫敦、日內瓦每個地方都很有特色食物、水質、道路、國際化程度等等可能都略勝義大利一截,但是走了一圈回來還是最喜歡義大利,當踏上這片土地的那一片刻,聽到熟悉的義大利文就像是回到家一樣,似乎默默奠下這五個月來對於這個國家的歸屬感,這樣的衝擊是我始料未及的,同時也說明了金窩銀窩沒有自己家的窩好。

最後,我想用雲門舞集林懷民先生曾說過的一段話作為這趟旅程的結尾: 『年輕時的流浪是一種養分』然而我現在將帶著這半年所吸收的養分繼續在台灣成長茁壯。

Times fly, it is time to say goodbye and it is also hard to say goodbye. Except for Taiwan, I regarded it as my second home here and I will never forget what I learned in those five months. While I applied this program and I was thought this experience will help my career development, maybe I can get a really good offer in the future, but now I am sure that I have learned more than what I thought.

My company is a family enterprise and our task is not like the other interns of TIP because they usually did the marketing research and analysis, this is quite incompatible what I thought. However, I didn't give up and keep asking myself what can I do for the hotel ? they don't actually ask you what you should be done and what you suppose to do.

The most challenge for me is the cultural shock, I am always thinking what do Italian think and what they are going to represent their feeling. At the beginning of my internship I don't understand what they are talking about and what they want me to do.  Finally, we finished our task: Website translation, Park brochure translation, Share our feeling and thought , Online travel agency research, Hotel profile flyer.

Even thought what I learned is not a business skills or marketing analysis, but I know more about the event and banqueting how they setting and decorated.

In my spare time, I have three weeks holiday, I go abroad and celebrate the Christmas and new year eve, It was very exciting and amazing. I went to Geneva, Paris and London, before I came to Italy I have no idea about Europe even the Italy.
