“I want to Be in the intern institution!”, these words were my will which I had insisted for the first three years in college. I participated the volunteer team when I entered Dong Hai Department of accounting. The weekly service and at least 10 speeches are what I devoted at that time. When I was a junior, I kept condensing my time and putting lots of efforts on finishing all the courses to cross the graduation threshold just for the whole year intern in senior. I faced a serious problem that probably couldn’t enter the intern after preparing the interview of intern offices. Therefore, I worked extremely hard all around to grab companies which I can intern. Fortunately, I eventually admitted by KPMG Taipei branches and started my senior lifetime in intern.
The orientation training began when I first stepped in the office with other freshmen. The most different with us is that they are graduated, no longer students, and this is their first job. Therefore, they worked extremely hard to devote themselves into this jobs. Also, I was effected by the atmosphere and focused on learning. This made me build a good foundation of intern. When the first field work assigned, I was allocated to the biggest case in the organization.
There were two supervisors in it. One belonged to the parent company and the other was under the subsidiary. To my surprise, the two were both my upperclassmen. The difference is that one is in high school, while another is in college. This not only let me feel less scared about the new environment, but also had more expectation about the novel things. The two seniors were so patient that taught me whatever the details of the works or the wokplace ethics which are seldom mentioned at the real workplace. These things made me acquire lots of much more important experiences and priciples than the working paper before entering workplace. I was really delighted to be a part of this case.
There was a lower classmate, who also participates intern, asking me about my feeling about intern. I sort out my reward in this intern period with the oppertunity, too. I told her as followed words. ”It wass really tired when you worked in the office. We usually had to work overtime at least ten o’clock, or even late.It was exausted, but it was sustantial. You can learn new knowledge every day when you were there. Offcoursely, everything have two sides. When you were intern, especially in weekends or holidays, you would feel tortured. Since your friends talked about where to go in the chatting group, while you were sitting in the office and facing the endless working paper with PBC. However, if you ask me choose again, to be or not to be, my answear is absolutely “YES” because I really learned lots of things. Despite I am a student, want to hang out with friends and eager for wasting my youth time of the last year in college, I believe that intern is a good way for the assistance in the future.”
I’m glad that my department owns this institution, letting my fourth-grade year won’t be wasted. Through the intern, I obtained more things than others. And these vital things are the lacks on textbooks. I think what I learned from the real workplace can let me lead at starting line after graduation!
